World famous IGPABWA - International Guard Pullers and Basket Weavers Association - chose New York resident Jo Chica as the best basket weaver who is currently displaying his skills on the NJ Turnpike.
The news broke after the annual gathering of the group at the Last Call bar on Christopher Street. Chica was present at the event and seemed to be shocked by the announcement. During his acceptance speech, Chica says " Thank you for this great honor. I have been weaving baskets and pulling guard as long as I can remember. Also, please contact me via Facebook for seminars and workshops ."
