The game 'Fortnite' will be shutting down in Late 2019 due to copyright. PUBG made a claim to fortnite saying that they copyrighted their idea.
Fortnite shutting down was first pointed out by Twinfinite when a screengrab of an alleged tweet from Fortnite's official account started circulating.
The post stated: "Due to the lawsuit against PUBG on copyright infringement, we are sorry to inform you that Fortnite Battle Royale Will be coming to an end August 20, 2019."
"Save The World and Creative Mode will still be open to all players. We will be making more games and experiences. Thank you all for the support."
