The popular app Discord–a chatting app for gamers– is shutting down in 2019.

"Discord has been very successful. But after many news articles and being placed on the FBI Watchlist, we cannot continue."
(Message from Jason Citron)

Discord, created in 2015, is very popular, with 130 million+ concurrent users. On Discord, you can create "servers"–groups in which you talk about a game or topic. Many servers have lots of "members", and in which you can add "bots"–robots that can perform tasks for you.
A popular bot, Dyno, is a "moderation bot" where you can use it to kick, warn, ban, and mute users.

The official shut down date is August 18th, 2019, at approximately 12:00 AM, CST.

Any users with "Nitro", a kind of subscription, will receive a full refund. If you purchased Nitro Classic, you will only receive your money back, but with Nitro, you will keep all games purchased and downloaded.
