On Saturday morning, the United States Congress ratified a new amendment with bipartisan support.

The bill, which was drafted in 2014 by Joshua Ackermann (D-MN) following Edward Snowden's whistleblowing of the National Security Agency, has been ratified by both parties nearly unanimously.

The bill essentially repeals the 4th amendment in regards to the digital age. To paraphrase the document:

In order to protect state security, security organizations belonging to or of the United States Government hereby are allowed the right to remotely search all technology that is usable for communication, image storage, or any other services which could be harmful, regardless of absense of warrant or cause.

After the whistleblowing of the NSA, the question of whether or not the government should pry into the lives of the citizens. Your representatives have answered for you.
