Victim Jose Pacheco, age 13, was killed by a group of known sureño gang bangers. He was in the store with 3 red flags on him, one hanging from his pocket, one around his neck, and one on his wrist. Witnesses say it was Jose who called them out first, calling them "skraps" and "sewer rats". 3 of the 5 gangsters shot him inside the store, leaving 9 bullet wounds. 4 on his hip, 2 on his neck, and 3 around his facial area. Jose stabbed one of them before hand, leading him to his death. His life, cut short, was very tragic and rough. Jose was found dead across the street, it was said he was crawling to safety after cops were called. Jose died minutes before they came.
