As if we all hadn't hear enough of them 1990 to 2009, one of our two favourite working class brothers; Noel Gallagher, has surprised thousands of fans.
The first time he shared the stage with Damon Albarn from Blur in 2017, nobody was that shocked since they were performing for charity and on a TV-show. It later turned out that they actually liked each other a bit now and they even went in for a good old hug right after the set had ended.
Now it was supposed to happen again. BLUR announced a special guest on their song Power: Noel Gallagher.
And it all went wrong, we honestly don't even think any situation could ever end up more horrible than what you're about to read. Be prepared.

The scenario: Imagine you are Damon Albarn. Your band is going ok, you have a wife and healthy kids. You're around 40 and still very youthful looking. Neither one of the Gallagherbrothers has made a stupid comment about your music, your relationships or your earrings in almost a decade. You're in a really good place of your life. This is end of 2016 - ish.

Now, you announce to drop an album with your band that you are pretty sure is going to be a success. Two weeks before album release, someone calls you at your homephone. It's Noel Gallagher asking you to work together, laughing an apology for saying your music was shit in 93'.
You're happy because you think he's got a great voice, so you agree.

You two record the track. Go out for a beer. Have fun.

That's when through the internet you find out what you've somehow missed in the 90s: your new best mate was a little bit too relaxed when he apoloigized for "saying your music was shit." What he actually said though was stuff like, I quote:

-"Graham Coxon should jump off of a cliff, he always looks a bit you know depressed. I'm all for assisted dying." (Incredibly charming, especially being aware of Graham's mental health problems)

-"Damon Albarn looks so much like a girl- he actually looks more girly that most girls nowadays. I'm not hating on him for it, I'm just saying he should probably not go to the toilet all by himself considering he isn't very strong either." (Ok. Just overall weird. And rape jokes are also always super fun, right?)

-"Noel, what do you wish Blur for christmas?" - "Blur?? I don't know. The only one of them I even know the name of is Damon. So, all other members will get hot chocolate and Damon Albarn will get AIDS and die from it." (Goes without saying how disgusting every single word is right?)

And so, Damon cancelled the song with Noel Gallagher last minute and is now recieving hate for it.

Ps. What Liam tweeted when the song together was first announced now makes sense....

"damon actually collaborating with my brother is the strangest fucking shit i've ever seen. "Your muic is shit." yeah that's my words (and true ones) but as much as i love being blamed for everything all the time- do you even know what fucked up shit noel has said about you?"
