Wouldn't It Be Nice if The Beach Boys were not being sued by local beach owners for trademark infringement.

The Beach Boys, the legendary band known for their surf rock hits of the 1960s, are being sued by the owners of a local beach for trademark infringement. Mye Glovë, head of beach management, says that the band has stolen many key words and components from the seaside assembly, including "beach" and "boys".

"We do not have any hatred for the band," said Mr. Glovë. "We only want to squeeze as much money out of them as possible so that we can be repaid for the awful deeds that have been committed for the past 58 years. A new TV would also be nice."

Mr. Glovë also accuses the band of taking several items from the beach and using them in their own songs. "Back in '66 we had our famous sand-guitar stolen, which put a huge dent in our business. A few days later I turned on the radio and surprise surprise, I hear the strumming of a guitar in the new Beach Boys song 'Good Vibrations'. This was not a coincidence; it was an insulting and demeaning act of violence by a seemingly 'innocent' band".

The Beach Boys have not commented on the matter, although co-founder Brian Wilson was praised for his progressive response after he was spotted slipping a piece of cardboard with several pieces of macaroni glued on it under his front door.
