The Scientists at an unknown location did something wrong. They were testing human blood cells, mixing different nucleus's, with a sick human and another sick human and electrocuted the mix, it turned out as a living disease. They killed it in time, but the disease can escape if the door to the quarantine zone is opened. If it opens it can lead to a "Last of Us" type situation. Lets just pray to God it doesn't open.
