After escalating tensions, the USA reinstated the nuclear development program. Although development has been paused since the 23 September 1992. The USA seemed it was necessary to kick start the development once again due to the Islamic Republic of Iran doing the same. The first missiles although aimed for the Indian Ocean corrected their course and headed for the Islamic Republic.
The first missile detonated in the atmosphere above Tehran setting off an EMP shutting down all power in the city.
The second would directly hit the major trading port of Ahadan destroying it completely and the area around it.
The UN has condemned the USA and are working to deescalate tensions. Experts believe it is far too late and Iran will retaliate soon if not immediately with China guaranteeing support and Russia sending material aid.
A major war seems to be looming with the USA beginning drafting and some NATO countries doing the same.
