Georgia state department of transportation announced that a state wide increase to the safety belt violation fine will go into effect Fed. 1 2020.
The fine which is currently set by the individual department will be a $500 minimum fine after Fed. 1 the individual departments will still have the ability to increase the fine over the $500 minimum.
