On Jan 24, 2020, BTS member Jin, also known as Kim Seokjin, decided to leave BTS and go to the Korean Military Service. He explained that it was getting to over-the-top and that he needed to go eventually. He has discussed this with his other members, and they were sad to see him go, but everyone knew it had to happen. "We'll miss having him around", says RM, BTS's leader. "He was a good role model for the rest of the group, but it had to happen." They continue to work as a group and please their fans.
