Achimota School Senior Officials Test “Positive” for COVID-19

Some senior staff of Achimota School have allegedly tested positive for the Coronavirus or COVID-19, this has been confirmed by sources directly within the school.
It is believed to have been spread by one of the teachers who went to the University of Ghana campus for a refresher course earlier this week.
As at the time of publishing, there’s no official statement from the governing board of the school.
The 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic is an ongoing pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). The virus was first reported in Wuhan, Hubei, China, on 17 November 2019. On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization declared the outbreak a pandemic.
