A 23 year old female Irish citizen has scammed an Uber of $109. She had told the Uber driver that “I paid online by card” while on the way to Brisbane Airport. The Uber driver who does not want to be named due to embarrassment stated “My children and wife starved for a week , I didn’t have the price of diesel due to this selfish c*nt , I was stranded in Brisbane Airport for 4 days”. The backpacker known as Laura Cronin took a flight to Dubai and then boarded a connecting flight to Dublin. She is now on a 10 year ban from all countries outside the EU.
