Oots:

Darkray Vectors are best in slot. They are also very cheap.
You should also try to get the enchant that says Damage Penetrates 10 of Enemy Elemental Resistances if you haven't Killed Recently.
There are only 16 enchants that you can get on boots from the uber lab, so this enchant is very farmable.
Get a Twice Enchanted prophecy and grab all the darkshrines, and you can get up to 3 enchants per run.

Amulet:

A good rare amulet will beat other alternatives. We want Critical Strike Multiplier, Life, Resists, Elemental damage with attacks, added cold/phys etc.
There are also a lot of cool influence modifiers you can get on amulets from the different conqueror's, shaper, and elder.
You can get really good prefixes from Reedemer exalts, for example.
Check out this link to see all the mods you can get. http://poedb.tw/us/mod.php?cn=Amulet

Other options are:

Verified

Both of these are incredibly strong.

Rings:

Mark of the Elder together with a shaped rare ring.
You want to get a ring with "Curse enemies with level Assassin's Mark on hit". That frees up some gem slots for you.
Those can be expensive early on though so until you get one, just find something with life, resists, and some damage.

Helmet:

Starkonja's is a really great helmet and will last you a long time. At some point you may want to switch to a rare helmet crafted with Frigid Fossils though. This gives you about the same damage, but allows you to also get resists and other stuff from your helm.

40 increased Frost blades damage enchant is ideal of course.
You can also get enchants for blood rage, ancestral protector, berserk, etc.

Jewels:

We're using Frost Blades, so yeah..
Try to get a pair with Corrupted blood cannot be inflicted on you.
This allows you to get rid of your bleed immunity on the flask and you can craft crit on it instead. See flasks.

This jewel adds modifiers to the passive points within it's radius. It will give you different bonuses depending on what number it has and where you place it. Try to get one and place it in different spots. If it's not good use divines on it when you can, until you find a good one. You will see the bonuses you get from it by mousing over the passive points in the radius. Only way to know if it's good or not is to test it.
I made a short video about lethal pride a while back, where I explain and show how it works. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ozMUYx5e0CQ
Try to look for chance to intimidate on it. That modifier is very powerful.
After that: double damage > crit multi > crit chance > melee/phys damage.

May be expensive, but I would recommend getting some version of it.
The best ones tend to be the ones that give Crit chance/Added cold damage/Cold penetration. All of those three are good and the one that is best for you may depend on your current gear.

What to look for on rare jewels

Weapon:

When it comes to claws, you should look for claws with high physical dps. If a claw has T1 cold damage on it, then a hybrid claw can be really cool.
The absolute best scenario is to have a claw with high physical dps, and also some form of elemental penetration on it.
Redeemer exalts have a couple of really cool prefixes that you can get, so if you have a crafted claw with a free prefix on it, then you can slam a redeemer on it and hope it lands T1 cold penetration.
Also, make sure that your claw also has increased critical strike chance on it. I cannot stress this enough.

You should always have it as your goal to get a rare claw, but if you don't have a high budget my favorite alternative is a Bloodseeker.
The instant leech you get from this claw is incredibly powerful and I have cleared most content with it. You can facetank Shaperbeam with this badboy.

Other good alternatives are Wasp Nest and Touch of Anguish. Both of these gives more damage than Bloodseeker.

Shield:

A rare shield with:
Life
High evasion
Resists
Reduced mana reservation

Anything beyond that is just a bonus. The Aura Reservation saves us a gem slot otherwise used for Enlighten. A shield with high evasion is a big source for our evade chance and helps a lot with reaching 95 evade.
If you have a shield with an open suffix, you can also craft cool stuff like 5 chance to deal double damage on them. That modifier gives a lot of damage.

Gloves:

Shaper's Touch is best in slot unless you have insane currency. Only downside with them is the lack of resist. Getting a pair with +1 frenzy charge corruption is ideal.

Since the introduction of Warlord Exalts you can also get +1 to frenzy charge on rare gloves as an affix. This means that you can theoretically get +2 frenzy from your gloves. At this point we're talking many exalts though.
You can also get a cool modifier from the Hunter Exalt that makes your attacks strike an extra nearby enemy. I don't think it's worth getting it because it's only good for clear speed and QoL. You should know that the option exists though.

Tombfist are also a great option. Socket them with a Murderous Eye Jewel, and you will also get intimidate from them.

Body Armour:

A good rare body armour or a Farrul's Fur are our best options.
On a rare body armour, life and high evasion is the goal to start with. You can no longer get maim on body armours, but you can still get the critical strike chance modifier. You can craft these armours yourself as long as you have an Elder influenced armour (Check video about fossil crafting armours in the video section).
First priority is to get one with high life and evasion though.

Farrul's Fur is arguably the best option for the build. It allows you to use Aspect of the Cat without the mana reserved, which means you can add another herald, like Herald of Purity. You will still need to have Aspect of the Cat crafted on another item though.
You will get about the same amount of damage as with a rare, but with a Farrul's Fur on, you will have 100 uptime on frenzy charges, even when not in combat.
There is however a drawback. You will not be able to get as much life on a Farrul's Fur as you can get on a rare body armour.

Yriel's Fostering (Rhoa or Ursa) - This is also a great armour. It gives a lot of damage, has decent evasion, and decent max life. An all around good chest.
Cons: It lacks resists

Belt:

Stygian belts are superior to all other belts for this build.
We want Life/resists/EDWAS. If you use Frigid + Prismatic fossils on a belt, you can get really good ones that have both increased cold damage - increased elemental damage AND increased elemental damage with attack skills.

Critical strike multiplier and attack speed are both very good on the jewel. Life and resist may also be a good idea if you are in need of it.

I mean.. This is also an option I guess.

Headhunter isn't really good for anything else than speedfarming stuff though. Against things like shaper/uber elder, it is useless. So don't go and buy a Headhunter and think it will magically make you super-strong. It doesn't work like that. :)

Flasks:

If you can corrupt one of your jewels with corrupting blood immunity, that means you can swap out your life flask for one of these instead:

It gives a lot of damage.

If you have a big budget and can afford it, you can get:

It varies from league to league, but in 3.9 this flask cost about 14-15 exalts. So this one is obviously only relevant when you already have good gear on other spots.
