Volkswagen Chattanooga just announced their current closure will be extended indefinitely. Spokesperson Dean Erwin said in their daily news conference"The health and safety of our employees is our number 1 priority". Erwin went on to say
"After Friday, April 3rd, all hourly employees will stop receiving pay for sitting on their asses and drinking beer all day at home. The time has come to make a decision based on needs and VW feels the need to pay salaried employees far outweigh the need to pay the low-life hourly employees". Mr. Erwin also said "hourly workers are grossly overpaid as it is so they don't deserve any extra free money". UAW spokesperson Goat agrees with the VW decision by saying" The UAW agrees with the VW decision".
