On Wednesday April 1st Minnesota governor announced that due to the COVID-19 virus students in grade 5-12 will be required to complete their second semesters in the months of July and August in order to move on to the next grade. Many students are currently participating in distance learning but the governor says that is not going to be enough. "We cannot simply pass students without making sure they are ready for the next grade. This could cause major problems for these students in the future as they prepare for high school and college. I hate to take away the students' summer vacations but school and learning has to come first." Story developing.....
