April, 2020 - in a bipartisan agreement, Governor Holcomb signed into legislation a bill so that all Indiana students K-12 will repeat their same grade in the 2020 - 21 school year. “This is going to be great for our youth so that they get the education they deserve. They need to stay in track and learn as much as they can so it prepares them for life’s obstacles. They also need to know the importance of April 1st,” said Governor Holcomb.
