Mr Khan of Burnley, Lancashire sues Burnley primary school after his daughter was served pork and bacon for lunch. He says that the school knows that Muslims are not allowed to eat these foods but served them to Muslim children. He says that his daughter will no longer be having school dinners and will be given takeaways from his delicious kebab shop in the future.
Local councillor, Terry Burns said that the primary school should accept responsibility for this. It should have took the necessary measure to ensure that Muslim children were provided with halal school meals.
The headteacher refused to provide statement upon request.
