Last year, Pokémon fans were treated to two new games, Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield. These were the first two games released in what is known as the eighth generation. These were incredible games and were well received by most fans. Earlier this month, however, Pokémon company president Tsunekazu Ishihara (@RealIshihara) posted a picture of the California welcome sign with the simple caption "Mejado". This puzzled Pokémon fans at first until it was revealed in a recent interview with the Pokémon president himself that the tweet was indeed a clue toward the new games as well as revealing that said games would take place in a California-based region. Pokémon fans are excited to see what comes next
