The latest post from the famous TikTok Account on Twitter [@tiktok] says "we will be shutting down this year but not to worry as the app is reverting to its old alias Musical.ly. An official from ByteDance, the Beijing-based internet technology company has said that "due to security reasons we have had to release a closing statement by the Chinese Supreme Court" No further details have been released.
