Back in 2019 speculation of Minecraft shutting down and no longer being accessible has been squashed. all rumors have been proven false.
Though one new rumor has been circulating about. Seems no one has heard of it but is it true?

The rumor posted by a 4channer explained that Minecraft is actually loosing player base and is now full of bugs.
Apparently this started when Microsoft bought Minecraft from Mojang back on Monday, Sept. 15, 2014.

It has been said that More and more bugs are showing up and Microsoft is having issues handling them.
Minecraft now coming up to 11 years old is very glitchy now. several blocks have been seen that don't exist. and blocks that exist not being seen.
remember the nether reactor core? no? well it never existed. in fact its been said if you break it a bunch of iron diamond and a gold ingot drops when it is broken. but how did it first show up?
In fact this one block was once in the bedrock version and pocket edition version of Minecraft. but has been since removed. all you need to make it is 6 iron ingots and 3 diamonds.

this is just one of many!
there is also the glowing obsidian block that has been seen about in the end and nether. these are only one example of many bugs and glitches happening to Minecraft currently. will they be fixed? no one knows we can only hope they do or we can say goodbye to our beloved square platform.
