Preston man, Ryan Mulliner, 22 of Brookfield, Preston is to be prosecuted following an incident when visiting the City’s popular buffet style restaurant, The Chinese Buffet in Preston earlier this month. A spokesperson for the buffet stated that Mr Mulliner had simply 'overeaten' and they have 'never seen anything like it'. Following this statement, with the rules and regulations of the all you can eat buffet, the food chain’s manager claims that; 'our buffet is designed to enable customers to eat as much as they like, however, more than five large main plate’s is simply the maximum we can allow our customers'.

The Preston man, Mulliner, had attended the Chinese buffet on the 20th November 2016 around lunch time hoping to 'fill his boots'. Ten main plates and five desserts later, Mulliner was asked to leave by the manager who had stated that he had 'eaten too much food' and should either pay for another adults worth of food or the police would be called. Mr Mulliner refused to pay and was arrested at the location.

The Chinese buffet are appalled about how much food the young man had consumed and later added in a statement that Mulliner even 'stole' a plate of BBQ spare ribs off another customer prior to being arrested. The BBQ ribs where never found.

Lancashire police have eagerly recommended that any whitnesses should come forward and give statements....
