South Korean singer and member of the girl band (MAMAMOO), Ahh Hye-jin, known by her stage name Hwasa, has received tons of backlash for wearing traditional 'Nigerian costume' in one of her videos, causing a fan war on Twitter. MAMAMOOO’s Hwasa name was the top trending hashtag on all over twitter in the U.S, many fans were furious at how ignorant the K-pop idol was towards different cultures. Twitter users imputes that she completely abused her power as an idol and should disband from the group (MAMAMOO) immediately.
Earlier this morning; at around 9:27 am, the so called K-Pop star was found unconscious in her apartment. Member Jung Whee-in, known professionally as Wheein, a South Korean singer and songwriter signed under RBW was the first to discover Hwasa at her unconscious state.
We believe this outcome may be due to the amount of hate comments and death threats been sent to the potentially former member of MAMAMOO. Up till now we haven’t received any new updates, since RBW entertainment has decided to keep quiet about the subject for now. We will later inform the public if there are any new updates that need to be spoken publicly off.
