His friend John 49 took a picture of the bull shark and posted it on Facebook. The shark circled the boat a few times and then disappeared into the lake. John's son named David 17, was swimming near in his boat was able to get to the boat on time. The shark was spotted yesterday at 12:54 pm.

Brian Briar, National Resources Department in Marshall MN says, "Bull Sharks are known to be able to swim between salt and fresh water. Although they are able to swim in fresh water typically they are only found in tropical rivers around the world." This is the second reported sighting of a bull shark in Lake Benton and in Minensota this summer. Now, scientists are going to investigate how a bull shark got this far north from the Gulf of Mexico all the way up to a lake in Minnesota.
