Lake Benton-MN Monday, Residents should be on the lookout after another bull shark sighting reported in Lake Benton, Minnesota. The shark was spotted by a fishing boat area 600 yards off the beach. The shark was estimated to be 12 feet long. Brad Leber 43 spotted the shark with his camera. There were no people swimming in the area, but there were a some other boats fishing in the area though. The beaches haven't been closed yet still.

Brian Briar, National Resources Department in Marshall MN says, "Bull Sharks are known to be able to swim between salt and fresh water. Although they are able to swim in fresh water typically they are only found in tropical rivers around the world." This is the third reported sighting of a bull shark in Lake Benton this week. Two were reported this week near the Lake Benton Resort Area. Scientists and authorities are still going to investigate how a bull shark got this far north from the Gulf of Mexico all the way up to a lake in Minnesota and why there have been sightings lately.
