Monday, lawmakers finally ended a several months long stalemate on a second economic stimulus package. Senate democrats proposed a scaled back 1.5 Trillion package that includes extensions for Unemployment bonuses and direct payments to taxpayers of 1,000 per month plus 250 per child for qualifying households. These changes will be in effect until July of 2021.
