On November 6, 2020, local police stormed the Spider Gang residence after receiving a call from an unnamed member of the residence around 11:38 PM EST, saying that a person had fallen unconscious in the residence and was concerned for their health. When police got there, they found Darkie unconscious lying next to two baggies filled with fentanyl-laced cocaine. At first glance, the police did not suspect the involvement of fentanyl. He was then rushed to the hospital shortly after midnight, where he lived until being pronounced dead at 3:32 AM EST on November 7. It took an estimated 30 minutes to identify the body and confirm that it was indeed Darkie's. Brahman was then arrested on suspicion of giving Darkie the laced cocaine that he died from an overdose and was sentenced to death shortly afterwards. He has been sentenced to life in prison.
