Unfortunately, Fortnite will be shutting down due to the servers and population, they were about to shut down Fortnite on the 26th of September, 2018, but there was more servers developed and got to a point where they could continue the game, but population of Fortnite is rising and rising overtime, and didn't have time to develop all the servers, so they unfortunately shut down.
