MiHoYo made an announcement saying they will be taking down the game for a while as it needs some fixing. They also stated "that some peoples accounts might be deleted as their servers need a refresh" They said it might be up before the end of 2021. This caused a lot of outrage in the Genshin community. One player said " I played this game like it was my job and it makes me very frustrated that it goes all to waste.
