On 15th January, in an interview on channel Webshows, Taylor Swift stated that she is bisexual.After her record breaking album Evermore came out, many fans accused that some of her songs indicated that she might be trying to hint something towards her sexuality.Her album name 'Evermore' is taken from the poetry of a popular poetess of 19th century who also happened to be interested in a girl.When Taylor Swift was asked about it, she clearly stated that:
"I wanted to be real with the people who love me, my fans.And that's what I had in my mind while writing songs for this album.Yes, you're right that I'm interested in girls too.I'm currently dating a girl but I need time to think about it to make it public."
