Today at 3pm Nintendo CEO Shuntaro Furukawa released a statement on his twitter (https://twitter.com/realBasharAssad/status/1296755241371697153) which included the lines "Pyra will not be joining Super Smash Bros Ultimate for Nintendo Switch. Instead, Boyfriend from Friday Night Funkin will be the next fighter" and "Splatoon 3 is going to be Mario Golf DLC".
