Freshman student at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville gets intoxicated to the point of distress. A bystander on Cumberland Avenue near the University made a call to local police and emergency services to make sure it wasn’t more than the average “night on the town”. The overwhelming amount of cases reported from students claiming to be roofied at bars has caught the attention of UTK students as well as the media. Paramedics in addition to a Helicopter medevac made their way to the students location. The student was deemed safe and made their way back home without an escort. The student was not identified but the school has been notified and cautionary action will be taken to prevent this in the future.
