The dismembered body of rapper/singer Tory Lanez was found in the basement of his Calabasas home. Daystar Shemuel Shua Peterson (born July 27, 1992), known professionally as Tory Lanez, is a Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He received initial recognition from the mixtape Conflicts of My Soul: The 416 Story, released in August 2013. In 2015, Tory Lanez signed to record producer Benny Blanco's Mad Love Records through Interscope Records. Several celebrities paid tribute to the late singer. Video of rapper Megan Thee Stallion learning of the news have surfaced on the internet. Megan accused Lanez of shooting her last year in a dispute. Police are not releasing much information at this point. A news conference is scheduled for tomorrow morning at 8 am.
