A new Taco Bell is soon to be under construction in Monrovia,IN.
Located on N. Chestnut St., just South of the Dollar General, the new location was approved by Morgan County officials in July.
Township officials approved the plan after it won the OK of the county drain commission, transportation commission, the Indiana Department of Transportation and Monrovia & Morgan County fire officials.
Fire officials were the only hiccup in the approval process and gave their approval after a revised site plan met requirements for fire hydrant placement.
Developing the new location, which joins Subway at 255 W Main St to become the second fast food establishment in town, is Robert Morris, president and project manager of WTF Development Corp., a franchise project management firm in Indianapolis.
Store opening is scheduled for October 2021.
