Many states have begun taking mask mandates away, but the numbers show that it is causing yet another spike. Tanya Renfrow, a WHO official, expressed "we are making these calls based off the knowledge and research we have observed over the past two years." President Biden says that he will announce a "national recommendation in the coming days".
