President Capiluto decided that with Coronavirus numbers going up, there is a need for more precautions. Capiluto said, ''As president of the University of Kentucky it is my job to protect the students and staff. Capiluto has made the executive decision to require the N95 masks in classrooms, as well as make it required to wear these masks while outside while on the campus grounds. Other college campuses have taken these plans into action, and Capiluto has decided that the University of Kentucky will be no exception. Capiluto reports, ''Coronavirus has new strains that are much more dangerous, at the University of Kentucky we will take the safety precautions to save lives.''
