A Bay Shore Senior High School student was struck by a pick up truck while crossing the street. The suspected driver was going 65 mph down going East down 3rd avenue when tragedy struck. Bayshore High School Junior Frankie J Vargas (16) was struck by the pick up truck, Left in critical condition. Security guards of the school were the first to come to the aid of the senior. Paramedics arrived 10 minutes after. Frankie Vargas was left with bruises across his torso and his legs but is in stable condition sources tell News 12.
