The fairly new free to play game "Dauntless" just reached the highest average users a month, the game is a monster hunt game where you take place as a "slayer" who has to hunt down the monsters on the "Shattered Isles"
With now over 2,3 million new registered users, the game has now beaten other games like Fortnite and Players Unknown BattleGrounds (PUBG) this month.
People are discussing wether the reason for the sudden popularity is because the cross-play feature, or because its the way the game is made, can't be roughly determined.
The free to play game is continuing to grow and and developers saids, that they expect to see a the number racking even higher.
