Now, Former NBA Superstar LeBron James has abruptly retired days before the beginning of the 2021-2022 NBA Season to pursue his dreams of becoming an MLB player. Many believe he is doing this to follow in the steps of his idol, Michael Jordan, who also retired from the NBA to play baseball but to only return to the NBA a year later. Nobody understands why James has made this decision or what has pushed him out of Los Angeles but there are reports that James and the heading coaching staff were arguing over wanting to trade a player. That player has not been named, however, many believe it is Anthony Davis. LeBron James' agent, Rich Paul, has been contacted for questioning however there is no response.
