Recently the creator of Kirby, Masahiro Sakurai has admitted to Kirby being a mistake. He has made posts on twitter about how much he hates the pink puff ball multiple times, and how he wished he never created the game series in the first place.
"Kirby was a disgusting mistake, I don't know why people find the games entertaining. You must be pretty dumb if you like the games."
His most recent tweet talks about how there aren't going to be any new games in the series, and how fans of the games should probably get mental help.
" There aren't going to be any new Kirby games. No one likes them anyway."
He has stated that all Kirby games downloaded online will be deleted from all systems on March 26th of 2020, and all physical copies will be detonated up by a remote bomb secretly located in the cartridge.
